Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Ansoren handles personal data for this Europe-facing website, contact inquiries, Cloudflare-hosted operations, and optional analytics.
Controller
Ansoren is the controller for personal data collected through this website. We are based in Amstelveen, Netherlands. Contact us at [email protected].
Data we process
- Contact inquiries: name, email address, company or team, message, and optional DX/AX diagnosis answers submitted through the contact form. These submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1 and sent to us by email through Resend.
- Website operations: technical request data processed by Cloudflare, such as IP address, request headers, browser metadata, timestamps, URLs requested, and security events needed to deliver and protect the site.
- Essential browser storage: local storage values used to remember language and privacy choices.
- Optional analytics: page views, referrer, approximate location, device/browser information, and interaction events only when analytics tools are configured and you consent.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to inquiries: we process form submissions to answer your request and prepare a possible business engagement. Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(b), steps taken before entering into a contract.
- Running and securing the website: Cloudflare processes technical data so the site can be delivered, protected against abuse, and debugged. Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in a secure and available website.
- Remembering essential choices: language and consent choices are stored locally in your browser so the site can respect your preferences. Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(f), and these items are necessary for the service requested.
- Improving the site with analytics: Google Analytics 4, Cloudflare Web Analytics, or Microsoft Clarity load only after you allow analytics. Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(a), consent.
Cloudflare hosting and storage
This website is hosted and operated on Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare Pages Functions, and Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare acts as our processor for hosting, security, caching, routing, serverless function execution, contact-form storage, and related technical logs. Contact form requests pass through Cloudflare infrastructure, are stored in D1, and are then sent to our email processor.
Cloudflare operates a global network. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, Cloudflare relies on applicable transfer safeguards, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where relevant.
Email delivery processor
When you submit the contact form, the submission is also sent to us by email through Resend. Resend acts as our processor for email delivery and may process message metadata and content to deliver the inquiry. International transfers are handled under Resend’s applicable safeguards.
Analytics processors
If configured, the site may use Google Analytics 4, Cloudflare Web Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity. These tools are not loaded until you choose “Allow analytics.” We do not intentionally send contact-form content, names, email addresses, or company names to analytics providers. The contact form area is marked for masking where session-analysis tools support it.
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity may set or read cookies and other identifiers after consent. Cloudflare Web Analytics is used through Cloudflare’s beacon script and is disclosed as analytics even when configured without cookies.
Retention
- Contact inquiries stored in Cloudflare D1 and delivered by email are kept for as long as needed to respond, manage a business relationship, or meet legal obligations.
- Essential consent and language choices remain in your browser until you clear site data, change browsers, or the stored consent period expires.
- Analytics retention depends on the configured provider settings. If GA4 is used, the intended retention setting is 14 months. If Microsoft Clarity is used, session recordings are intended to be kept for the shortest practical period available for the project.
- Cloudflare technical logs are retained according to Cloudflare’s operational and security settings for the services used.
Your choices and rights
You can refuse analytics by choosing “Essential only” in the banner. You can withdraw analytics consent by clearing site data for ansoren.com; the banner will appear again on your next visit. You may also use browser privacy controls to block cookies, local storage, or third-party requests.
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise rights, email [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
